Beside the "bulgogi" (marinated beef) or "kalbi" (marinated ribs),
the meal has a number of "panchang" (condiments) such as the famous kimchee (pickled cabbage).

Santa Monica:

There are many great hiking trails there, look at the link above for pictures and trail maps

There is a very popular biking / roller-blading path running all the way from North of
Santa Monica beach to Redondo Beach (~15 miles)

Further up North, the beach narrows considerably and gets closer to PCH.
This is one of the best spots to stop by during your skating or biking for a view of the whole Los Angeles Bay
