Fourth Floor Party on July 10, 1999
at Leo Carillo State Beach
(by Yves Rubin)

This year, the research groups of Miguel Garcia-Garibay, Yves Rubin, and Fred Wudl have organized a fantastic beach party for the 4th floor occupants of our Molecular Sciences Building.  We drove to Leo Carillo State Beach, just North of Malibu, where barbecue pits are available for beach goers.  The beach is one of the most remote from Los Angeles, but well-worth the 45 minute drive on Pacific Coast Highway passing by Malibu (you've seen both in many movies and somewhat dubious TV shows).

With my new digital camera ( FujiFilm MX-2700), I was able to catch some people on film (well, as bits of memory), with some of them in somewhat compromising positions.  If you can't wait, scroll down now!
