This project originally started because I wanted my students to have 24 hour access to handouts and other educational material. For now most the handouts are off-line, but I have some prototype "virtural lectures" (for lack of a better name), chemistry images ( to help spark student imagination about chemistry), and a "frames" protocol for problems and virtual labs.

Organic chemistry is a dynamic field in the physical sciences which touches every part of our daily lives, from life saving pharmacueticals to exciting new materials in technology. Yes, it can be a difficult subject to learn at times, but its basic role in life and in making all our lives a little easier should give anyone an appreciation for the chemistry of carbon. To see a brief synopsis of some interesting research going on in organic chemistry today, click here.

Here are some problem sets I have given in the past:

"Virtual Lectures"

I will eventually add sound to these when I can afford the software!!
